[Q] how to make firewire card work on Redhar As 2.1?

I just purchased a firewire card and firewire disk then connect it to PC.
The PC has Redhat AS 2.1 update 3 installed.  After PC reboot, Redhat does 
not recongnize this firewire card.

Does there has driver I need install to make it work?
