Auto-logoff

Is there a way to have a user automatically logged off if they have been
inactive for a certain amount of time (only from the terminal,
X-Windows)?

A number of our users are not logging of, usually because they forget
to, and I'm concerned it might pose a security problem if others have
access to their files.
