I use Cygwin http://www.cygwin.com, which is more than just an ssh tool. It
simulates a LINUX/UNIX environment on a PC, which may be useful depending on
the skill level of your users. You can build any necessary shell scripts
for automation if need be.
It also has an X server so you can do X forwarding to the PC, albeit the X
forwarding is very slow if done from anywhere but the local network.
