Hi,

resize2fs is in place since RHEL 2.1. ext2online was added with RHEL4 
and probably has been dropped with RHEL5 as online resizing is now 
avaiable from resize2fs as well. Release notes should indicate that.

Online resizing works fine with system-config-lvm ( and it does use 
resize2fs, read the python source ) for me, it did not work on shell 
level though... but my 5 minutes are over now.
