looking for a TTF font viewer

  given that gfontview is not here any longer, and i'm not sure what
gnome-font-viewer is complaining about, i'd like a simple font viewer that would
let me scan through all of the TTF font files in a directory one at a time.

  from what i can see, gnome-font-viewer only accepts a single file as an
argument.

  does severn have something like this somewhere?
