How to modify partition table?

Does someone know how we should modifiy the partition table after
installation? E.G. if you use LVM there may be a need to change the LVM
volumes for reallocating space.

There seems to be no redhat-config-.... and the very nice partitioning
tool used during installation is missing on the disk. I know the command
line tools, but - ok - more comfort more safeguards against typing
errors, please.
