RE: so ... how do I get a graphical boot?



add this rhgb to the /boot/grub.conf as noted on the line below
kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl ro rhg broot=LABEL=/ hdd=ide-scsi

When grub shows the list of systems to boot, select "edit" and add "rhgb"
(no quotes) to the list of parameters being passed.
