Dead keys doesnt work on Severn

Hi folks,

I dont know why, but my dead keys used on the Portuguese language just
doesnt work on my Severn with all latest beta updates. 

When I send an email or a instant message, the dead keys shows properly
on my side, but the guy who receives the messages, gets strange and
unreadeble text.

How can I fix this?
