Hi, I am writing this here, as I find this patch very useful.
There is a patch available at:
http://gaugusch.at/kernel.shtml
Which allows the loading of an ACPI DSDT in the INITRD during boot.
I find this very useful for my Dell i8100, and if this was included in
arjanv's test kernels, it would make at least my life alot easier.
Is this a good patch for inclusion? Or do I have to keep re-compiling my
DSDT into the kernel?
I have not file an RFE in bugzilla due to the 'unofficial' link between
the test kernels and the beta.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers,
Phil Trickett
