How to show the total number of NPTL threads running around?

Hi,

I keep finding info about how to set the max number of threads for the
system.

However, I need to get the total number of threads currently running and
compare that to the max.
Can anyone help here?

I also need find out the current number of threads per process.


Any help or pointers is appreciated?
