if its a useful thing to have in the filename.... then the vendor tag
needs to become a standard part of the filename, instead of pushing
more and more and more information into the same tag field.

If its a useful thing to have... in the rpm -q output... then the
vendor tag should become part of the standard rpm -q output.

The rpm tag space is a HUGE wasteland of crap at the moment... and it
needs to be cleaned up and it needs to be used.
