Re: Differences between installer kernel and installed kernel



I've tried that, and it seems to make no difference at all. I've tried every combination of VirtualPC settings I can think of, and I still get the same result.

The installer kernel should be the same as the non-smp 586 kernel. Does it work if you boot the installed kernel with the option "noreplacement" ?
