Onboard sound card detected with CS4236C as unknow device but no sound

I have installed FC4 on a Old Dell Optiplaex Pentium
II desktop, it detected everything including the
on-board sound card as chip #CS4236C as an unknown
device but no sound. I have found out that the chip
number on that PC actually is: CS4235. 

Any help will be very much appreciated.
