UUID - raid Labels - blkid vs mdadm

hi,

http://docs.fedoraproject.org/release-notes/f8/en_US/sn-Installer.html#sn-IDE-RAID
5.3.2ff Disk partitions must be labeled

this is a actually a F7 box and in a few days F8.

1;
is it normal that the blkid UUID from the "first raid1 device" /dev/sdc1 == /dev/md0 but only /dev/sdc1 has the Label given with `e2label /dev/md0 /MD0` (raid1 = sdc1, sdd1, sde1) ?
what will happen if the first raid-device is not available ?

# blkid  /dev/md0  /dev/sdc1
/dev/md0: UUID="6a69e976-f945-4f7e-bda1-1859ac88211a" SEC_TYPE="ext2" TYPE="ext3" LABEL="/MD0" /dev/sdc1: UUID="6a69e976-f945-4f7e-bda1-1859ac88211a" SEC_TYPE="ext2" TYPE="ext3" LABEL="/MD0"

# blkid /dev/sd[c-e]* (all "fd" "Linux raid autodetect")
/dev/sdc1: UUID="6a69e976-f945-4f7e-bda1-1859ac88211a" SEC_TYPE="ext2" TYPE="ext3" LABEL="/MD0"
/dev/sdc2: UUID="d4f1c85a-4eb2-a60e-9dc7-ce80bc7ad982" TYPE="mdraid"
/dev/sdc3: UUID="c5d37357-a4e1-e3f1-cc2c-1fae6b79333a" TYPE="mdraid"
/dev/sdd1: UUID="9b492dca-064e-36ff-e1cd-397c109f4227" TYPE="mdraid"

is it normal that `blkid` and `mdadm --examine --scan` (mdadm.conf) give different UUIDs for the raid-devices ?
