Preupgrade question

Hi.
Is preupgrade supposed to honour your extant yum settings? I'm trying it out on an F-8 machine going to rawhide. So far, it is working fine, but it seems to be using random mirrors for downloading, rather than the mirrors I have specified in my yum repo files (failovermethod=priority is set). Using yum directly is fine.
If preupgrade uses its own mirrorlist, is there a way to force it to use a particular mirror?
