Same problem here this morning. I only noticed it when Thunderbird wouldn't
start for me. Same solution too.
It wasn't the glibc update because I didn't install it. I usually wait a couple
of days on that one just to be safe.
I looked at the last couple of days of package updates
(there haven't been many with the holidays)
but I didn't see any other obvious candidates.
