The ways to get ACL work on any FS on FC1?

Hi,

I;m trying all day to get POSIX ACL work on Fedora CORE 1. The problem now is
that I can´t compile the kernel! Even when I´m loading one of the default
configs, that came with the kernel-source package and just compiling the kernel,
getting this:

: undefined reference to `zlib_inflate_workspacesize'

Befire it I´m tried many custom configurations without any success. Please help!
