Installation problem

I'm trying to see how Fedora works on an older IBM 760XL laptop, and I 
wanted to install over the network.  I have a 3Com EtherLink III PCMCIA 
card (3C589D-TP).  When I try to tell the installer I want to install 
over HTTP or FTP and select the EtherLink III or 3C589 drivers, it says 
it can't find the devices.  I have the pcmciadd.img installed on another 
floppy, should I install that first to get it to work?  If so, how?
