what's the process for new rpms to be available?

mrtg 2.10.5 was shipped with FC1, and now 2.10.6 is available...
How does the newer mrtg version find its way to up2date?
I can d/l the source from mrtg.com, that's just not as easy as using an
rpm... :-)
