i'm sure there's an obvious option i've overlooked, but in sending
mail from pine, is there a way to deactivate the "format=flowed" option
that permits reformatting of the message? not surprisingly, this makes
a mess of patches i'm trying to email.
as a fallback, i can always email by just driving the patch through
"sendmail -oi -t", but it would be nice to be able to stick with pine.
thoughts?
Which Version of pine are you using?
From pine help ((S)etup->(C)onfig->quell-flowed-text(mark and type ?)
PINE 4.61 HELP FOR SETUP CONFIGURATION
FEATURE: Quell-Flowed-Text
[snip]
Send message (not flowed)?
"Strip-Whitespace-Before-Send" will also turn off the sending of flowed
text messages, but it differs in that it also trims all trailing white
space from a message
before sending it.
If alternate editors are used extensively, be aware that a message will
still be sent flowed if this feature is unset. In most cases this will
be fine, but if the
editor has a "flowed text" mode, it would be best to use that.
