- Press CTRL-ALT-F1
- Log in as root
- go to /usr/share/gdm/themes/Bluecurve
- copy one of the other icon-... files to icon-language.png & make sure
it's world-readable
- log out
- press CTRL-ALT-F7
- press CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE
- log in and re-install the Bluecurve theme
