launching a service (chkconfig), symlink

Hi all,

I have a server (a zope one) I would like to be launched at (re)boot time.

The server embed a launching script wich synopsys is the same as usaual
init scripts

scriptname start|stop|restart|...

The script is located at /home/user1/zope/bin/zopectl

I made a symlink

/etc/init.d/zopesite -> /home/user1/zope/bin/zopectl

But when invoking chkconfig, it is not listed. Is it because it is not a
regular file but a symlink? How to manage it?

There is a solution to copy the file... but is it the only one?
