FC4 update breaks xlock (makes it hang)

Dear list,

It appears that an update over the weekend has broken xlock -- obtained from
the xlockmore RPM on FC4 extras. Can anyone please help?

xlockmore itself was not updated since the FC4 Extras date there appears to be
June 30, 2005.
