Pardon if this is not the appropriate list.
I have an FC4 installation and had a working version of darcs
until recently. Now, whenever I try to invoke darcs I get:
darcs: error while loading shared libraries: libcurl.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
My questions:
1) Is this an issue of the packaging, or a bug in
darcs, or what?
2) How to fix this (preferrably via yum)?
The current version was installed via yum:
$ yum search darcs
darcs.i386 1.0.3-2.fc4.1 extras
[snip]
darcs.i386 1:1.0.2-1 installed
libcurl:
$ cd /usr/lib
/usr/lib
$ ls -l libcurl*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 284984 May 3 14:02 libcurl.a
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Aug 5 19:21 libcurl.so ->
libcurl.so.3.0.0*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Aug 5 18:48 libcurl.so.3 ->
libcurl.so.3.0.0*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 214952 May 3 14:02 libcurl.so.3.0.0*
kernel:
$ uname -a
Linux sam.furmanet 2.6.12-1.1447_FC4 #1 Fri Aug 26 20:29:51 EDT
2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Thanks in advance,
Itay
