Warning: Inrecognized URI ???

I've found the following two messages in /var/log/messages:

Dec  5 00:52:34 epohost python: hpssd[2872]: warning: Inrecognized URI: 
socket://192.168.1.101:9100
Dec  5 00:52:34 epohost python: hpssd[2872]: warning: Inrecognized URI: 
socket://192.168.1.111:9100

I suppose "Inrecognized" is a typo for Unrecognized. But what does it really 
mean? The two devices are my lan attached printers and they perform flawlesly 
inspite of this warning which btw can be found numerous times in the message log.
