I've previously tried updating udev through both the update repo and
updates-testing. I'm pretty sure it was udev 113-8.fc7 was the
update. It didn't change anything. At this point when plugging in the
drive which is a WDC-80g usb drive it didnt seem to show anything on
the screen. I read a post somewhere about updating libmodules. I did
that and at least now it pops a warning box up on the screen that
says I don't have permission to mount this drive. Thanks Andy. I'll
keep plugging along. Eventually we'll figure it out. Im learning
something new everyday.
