Hi How do you open a PDF with Evince when it is not in the right cilck
menu? I can not get it to open with the open with dialog box.
Thanks
In GNOME, right-click and select 'Open With->Document Viewer' (that's
the menu name for Evince). If "Document Viewer" is not an option,
try right-clicking and 'Open With->Other Application', then scroll
down and click on 'Document Viewer'.
Alternately, start Evince first and select 'File->Open" and browse to the file.

Chris
