KDE4: no mounted device icons on desktop

Hi,

I just installed F9 (I was previously on FC6) and I'm really lost with this 
new release.
When I plug an usb key, no icon appeared on the desktop.
So, how can I umount it?

This is the same thing when I insert a CDROM in the drive.
