Standard advice: Do a "yum update" (or update via whatever other scheme
you prefer) straight after a new install.
Have you done that yet?
While you're right to ask about the problem, chances are that things
like this do get found out and resolved shortly after a new release.
Though not until after people have made comments like yours, and made
bug reports.
