RE: [rhn-users] up2date kernel update error



Jonathan,

I can't really help you as I never had the error your mentioned, but I had 
others when upgrading the kernel.

Now before rebooting my machine, as you mentioned, I manually edit or check the 
lilo.conf and run lilo command to check if all is set correctly. I always keep 
my old kernel as backup in lilo.conf just in case of.

BTW, if you have a multi cpu machine, use the kernel-smp. I had no problem so 
far. If not, use the standard kernel.
