[rhn-users] IP Tables problem

Hi All,

I am configuring a Red Hat 9 machine at home that will act as a
firewall for my small network(s).

I am using the methods described by Jan K. Labanowskion his site
http://www.ccl.net/cca/software/UNIX/

However I am a bit stuck as I can't get the final piece of the jigsaw
to work.

I have 3 network cards

1) eth0 connection for private 192.168.0.x network
2) eth1 connection to the router for the Internet connection using
public IP from our list of 6
3) eth2 connection for DMZ of 192.168.1.x however nothing connected
yet

I have configured all the variables on the script. However I can't
seem to ping either 192.168.0.2 - 10 or the public IP that we have
of xx.xx.8.xx

Any idea of where to start on testing or info I can provide for
further help.

cheers

Greg
