I have a small home network with one Linux and 2 winme boxes.  I want
one network printer to serve the three boxes.  My HP 712 will not work
remotely using the windows setup or Samba/cups so I want to buy a new
printer that will work.  While I'm at it, I would like to get a
printer/scanner/copier combination.  The Epson is out because I don't
have the room to accommodate its paper handling.  That leaves the HP PSC
models.  I've reviewed  the HP and linux printing  web sites and can't
seem to get a specific yes or no.  Is anyone using one of these in a
small network?  If so, does it need a parallel cable or is USB ok?  Are
any special network cards needed?  TIA for any info you can give me.
