When you run the update it will offer a new SMP kernel which will recognize
both CPU's. I was unaware of dual P4 boards being available.

Subject: [rhn-users] Problem with Dual Board

I have installed Red Hat Linux 7.3 on my Webserver. After a few Months of
running the Motherboard is gone.
Now i have a new one with two P4 1.8 Ghz on it. My Red Hat Linux 7.3 always
shows only one P4 ?!

How can i activate the other one? Must i install a special kernel?

thanks all for the help

Daniel Gercke
