To be perfectly honest with you I would actually suggest you skip right
over the PPPoE client software on the Sparc (See:
http://www.hklpg.org/RPM/rawhide/1.0/sparc/RedHat/RPMS/rp-pppoe-2.6-5.sp
arc.html for more information) and call you ISP and get a block of 5
IP's (/29). In addition to the simplified configuration, ISP's such as
SBC will allow you to run servers with static IP's (they actually
advertise this as a reason to get static IP's).
