When did you see this behavior? Recently, or earlier this morning?
Heya Bret,
I noticed earlier this morning you booted everyone off the https server onto
the http server (probably a good idea. ;).. but trying to push this sendmail
errata fix to our 30 or so enterprise-entitled boxen seems to be taking
millennia - I'd hoped after the release of RedHat 8 steps would have been
taken to prevent this kind of thig (several days of crappy connectivity to
rhn each release is quite annoying). I'm sure you guys are having bandwidth
issues and all, but these are people who paid for this access, in the end. :)
For the curious, I've been trying to grab the ISO's since they went up at
about 9 AM this morning. I've allocated an entire T1 to the process. Since
then I've had to restart curl thrice, and now I'm getting a whopping
14KB/sec transfer rate total from the three streams, and have about 700MB
out of the 2GB I need to pull down.. about 100MB/hr, or ~28KB/sec on average
since I began.. which means it'll take more than 18 hours to get all three
ISO's.. and that's with an unused 1.5 megabit pipe available. :/
