Naresh, not to discourage you, however, I haven't been able to get wine to work yet (with the windows partition registry at least).  I tried it on RH7.x's using both the tars and the rpms.  I've also used the rpms in RH8 (I can run the wine version of notepad but nothing in my windows registry which basically invalidates the entire reason for using it since I want to run MS Word, possibly IE, & a couple of other windows apps on it so that I don't have to reboot into windows) and have been hoping to try it on RH9 (I'll upgrade as soon as I get email to work on XP again).  I've usually just attributed it to my linux skills though.  I figure that I'm like a "naats breath" away from getting it running at this point...

BTW, Naresh, I JUST found this newsgroup for wine that appears to be pretty viable & active.  I recommend subscribing to it (I'll probably post my issues to it): comp.emulators.ms-windows.wine
