After loading CodeWeavers' CrossOver Office on the RH9 Linux machine, I
then put in the installation CD for the Windows program, started the
CrossOver -> Office Setup, selected 'Install' button (to add new software),
and proceeded to install the program (with the same screens you would see
on an actual Windows machine).
No copy of Windows (98, 2000, XP, ...) is needed at all. You only need the
program installation CD. Some MS Office apps can be installed across a
network connection (or so they say).
The one (possible) drawback I have noticed, is that it appears the MS
program is only available to the Linux user that installed it into
CrossOver Office, even though CrossOver Office is available to all users
(once installed).
