You've got to understand that it is *not* meant for developing something 
else... The devel edition means the OS itself is being developed, and is 
probably not stable, nor secure. This type is only for developing RHAS 
itself, not for developing something to later be installed on a RHAS release 
version.

I would suggest getting a release as close as you can to any release 
version, so you can actually verify that your applications will work on that 
specific release version.
