Luckily, I did not have that same problem, but someone else posted to this list about it and said...
"There is a news flash and a recovery procedure on this at rhn.redhat.com
You have to down load some files by either ftp or http and follow a manual procedure. I also had to run 'up2date -p' after completing that procedure."
