I deployed amavisd-new 20030616 snapshot, using postfix, clamscan and
amavisd. It's fantastic. There's even a great mailgraph logger for it
too. The dependencies were a bit of a pain to get right but fortunately
someone posted up most of the RPM's on a RH73+amavis+postfix+spamassassin
howto page. Once you tune the paramaters it's a great solution, highly
recommended.
Have not worked with the commercial solutions but after deploying this,
see no need to.
