Windoz advocates are going to be happy of this !
RH pulls the plug on RH7.x and RH9. No more free Linux distribution, and now
the "Path" with an OS option pricing based on server's type.
This sounds to me as a very hostile move. Now I am very concern now of the
"openess" of Linux and its advantage against Solaris and Co based on this
new direction. The cost to port applications from an other OS to Linux is
pretty high, so now if I have to pay $1499 per server and per year.... I am
tempted to say: what's the point ?
