I agree. For years Red Hat has provided the world with top class
Operating Systems. 

Did anyone forget that this could end sometime???. It's their product,
they do as they like. For myself I can only be gratefull for the good
free products they provided me. If now I must choose to go some other
way or buy the product, then... I choose. But I won't blame them for
having a family to support, for having a car that needs gasoline....
life costs and good work should be payed.... except when one doesn't
want to be paid for it, but that is another story.
