Is the RHN code open source?  If so, maybe we should all pool our
resources together and build a custom RHN2 system.  Surely many of the
major hosting providers that currently use RHN (especially those with
RH7.3 systems) would be willing to assist  since they could effectively
save the money they currently pay RHN.

My situation: I have a set of RH7.3 servers that I lease from a hosting
provider.  I don't need RH8, RH9, 2.6 kernel, yada, yada, yada, or
anything else other than updated patches, specifically those for
sendmail, apache, openssl,  openssh, and a stable kernel.

I love RHN, and Redhat.  I WANT to buy/lease/rent a solution from them. 
But, if they are going to remove all reasonable options from the table,
what other choices am I left with?
