uh kids, i was using eject as an example. it takes 10 seconds to build.
my problem was with gnome-core which is a 12/5 meg i386/src rpm.
and since i can't short-circuit -ba i used eject to determine if my rpm
or spec file were messed up and through happy fortune i picked a package
that had an issue similar to mine.
i'm using an organic redhat 6.1 system (it's grown a bit) and i was
using the eject straight off the 6.1 cd.
btw, the helix people heed your advice: the locale stuff is specified with
wildcards: .../usr/share/locale/* . sadly though the locale directory
fails to be built on my syatem (though it is on helix's and a friend
of mines. i'll compare rpm -qa --qf '%{NAME}\n' lists when he gets home
to see what locale stuff i'm missing.
as for the eject spec file, i'll assume that's been fixed in 6.2/7.0. :)
