Can't use my own version of initscripts

I just made a patch to initscripts, but for some reason I can't install the
RPM that I built.

This is with RPM v4.

When i try to install it, I get this error:

# rpm -Uvh initscripts-5.44-1.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        /etc/init.d is needed by ucd-snmp-4.1.2-8
        /etc/init.d is needed by anaconda-7.0-1.200008101755
        /etc/init.d is needed by kudzu-0.68-1

However:

# rpm -qlp initscripts-5.44-1.i386.rpm |grep /etc/init.d
/etc/init.d

I didn't change anything relating to /etc/init.d. Any clues?

Chris
