I bet you're including the .i386.rpm suffix. That's not part of the
*package* name, it's part of the *file* name. The name shown in the "rpm
-qa" listing is the full name by which RPM knows the package; you can leave
off the revision and the version, but you can't add anything to it and
expect RPM to find the package.
