Use the `--dbpath <dir>' option to solve the db problem.
You'll probably need to init you own db.
You'll also have to deal with relocating the pkg to get it
into your own dir. If it was pkgd to be relocatable this should
be pretty straight forward, if not you should consider getting
the source rpm and building it to execute from your dir.
