Problems with .rpmrc file and topdir.

Hi all,

I'm trying to get rpm to use the topdir variable out of my .rpmrc file.  It
consistently reports: "bad option 'topdir' at /u/pneiswan/.rpmrc:1".  The
line found in my .rpmrc file is the following:  "topdir:
/u/pneiswan/rpmtest".  There are no spaces between topdir and the colon, but
there is one space after the colon.  I have tried various forms of topdir
and spacing, but get the same results.

Any ideas?
