Well, thank you, I did not thought of using -vv. Here are the results:

[root@hermes /root]# rpm -qvv apache
D: opening database mode 0x0 in //var/lib/rpm/
failed to open //var/lib/rpm/packages.rpm

rpmQuery: rpmdbOpen() failed

[root@hermes /root]# rpm -q -a -vv       
D: opening database mode 0x0 in //var/lib/rpm/
failed to open //var/lib/rpm/packages.rpm

rpmQuery: rpmdbOpen() failed

Not much more helpful...
