You want the script autodeps/solaris.prov from the rpm src tree. This script
is installed as /usr/lib/rpm/find-provides.
You might also look at scripts/vpkg-provides* which automates much of the
effort of generating a package that describes library sonames and executables
that exist on a system that is not entirely managed by rpm. You'll need
to diddle the scripts in minor ways to get them to "work".
